This Principal contractor has been operating for over a century across the residential, commercial, heritage, MOD, Medical, Leisure and Education sector. With an average project value ranging from 1million - 20million, this main contractor specialises in high quality refurbishment schemes.
About the role of a Contracts Manager
As a Contracts Manager you will be overseeing 2-3 projects at any one time from Preconstruction, PCSA through to delivery and handover on site. The approximate project value will be anywhere between 5million - 10million for each scheme.
Responsibilities for the Contracts Manager
- Ensure the project is running to programme and is compliant with Health & Safety.
- Strong focus on Quality Assurance.
- Manage and Motivate the Site team and subcontractors
- Be heavily involved in PCSA, preconstruction and programme before a project gets to site
- Successfully oversee multiple projects at any time
Requirements for the Contracts Manager role
- Experience with refurbishment construction projects across a variety of sectors within the region of 5million - 10million.
- 15+ years of Construction Industry experience is ideal
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- Leadership ability
