Apply now for the position of Allergy Scientist to join our CRMM Allergy department in Llanberis. Working within the CRMM Allergy department, our scientists are involved in the production of allergens, from raw materials to compounded products ready to enter the manufacturing streamline of final products. Daily work can include Laboratory-based benchwork techniques to extract, purify, and biotinylate Allergens.
Your Role:
Carry out planned work to achieve key milestones. Maximising efficiency through prioritisation of work
Perform laboratory biochemical techniques relating to protein purification and conjugation processes
Generate reports and participate in meetings to support the relevant processes where required
Develop your technical knowledge
Your Expertise:
Degree qualification in a scientific discipline and/or have relevant industry experience
Knowledge of immunoassay/in-vitro diagnostics would an advantage
Good Laboratory techniques and experience in a manufacturing environment
Attention to detail, time management skills, teamwork and commitment
Have a high level of self-motivation for good documentation practices (GDP)
