Our client, an award-winning construction consultancy, are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Estimator to join their team of approx. 30 working from their Northampton Office. On offer is an excellent package with a salary of up to £70,000 DOE and 24-days holiday plus bank holidays. The Senior Estimator will have the chance to work across a broad range of residential and commercial projects with values ranging from £500,000 up to £16 million. The Senior Estimator will be assisting contractors through completing tenders and bills of quantities on projects. Senior Estimator Salary & Benefits * Salary £60k - £70k DOE * 24 days' holiday, plus bank holidays * Pension Scheme * Coaching and Personal Development Sessions * Training and development schemes * Death in service * Competitive benefits * Onsite parking * Team events Senior Estimator Job Overview * Organize estimation files, complete tenders, and maintain detailed project records. * Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and specialists to ensure smooth tendering processes, while proactively following up on quotations. * Perform accurate take-offs for residential and commercial projects, utilizing appropriate tools and software. * Provide professional insights and value engineering advice to clients, incorporating feedback and managing project revisions. * Handle communications, administrative duties, and support for colleagues and directors. * Conduct post-call follow-ups and compare cost estimates with clear tender analyses. * Manage large-scale commercial projects, ensuring effective time and deadline management. Senior Estimator Job Requirements * Deep understanding of the building industry. * Highly organized and deadline-driven. * Strong written and verbal communication skills to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues. * Relevant qualifications and a minimum of 5 years' experience in the industry.
