Job Title: Site Manager Location: Dunton, UK Salary: £50,00 Amazing opportunity in Dunton, Essex for a Site Leader working directly for the facilities maintenance provider based on site. We are looking for a dedicated Site Manager to oversee the construction and maintenance operations at our site, ensuring that projects meet our high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Mon – Friday days role Training Progression route in the company 25 days annual leave Salary Sacrifice Pension SchemeWe are currently seeking a readily available Site Manager to be based at an established head office of a global Automotive company within the Essex region. Working within a specialist team – the Site Manager will play a crucial role in managing the site from setup to completion. Will oversee all aspects of site operations, ensuring that work is executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an opportunity not to be missed with plenty of training where needed and progression opportunities. Qualifications and Skills required Proven experience in a similar Site Manager role within Building Services. Relevant qualifications (NVQ and/or City & Guilds) in Site Management are essential. Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Proficient in project management tools and software.Key Responsibilities: Site Management: Oversee day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring all work is performed according to the project specifications and timeline. Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and the client, managing expectations and addressing any concerns. Qualifications and Experience: Ideally, you will have a proven track record in a similar Site Manager role within a Building Services organization. Possess relevant qualifications in Site Management (NVQ and/or City & Guilds are essential). Contract Oversight: Manage building contracts, coordinating the work of subcontractors and in-house labor to ensure project milestones are met. Resource Management: Control and manage site materials, including ordering and tracking materials and maintaining accurate drawings and documentation. Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS): Produce and maintain up-to-date RAMS, ensuring all safety protocols are followed and documented. Project Management Software: Update and manage daily project activities in our in-house project management software to ensure all team members are aligned. Progress Coordination: Coordinate regular progress meetings with clients, contractors, and other professionals, producing weekly reports to provide updates on project status. Site Inspections: Conduct weekly site meetings to discuss progress, perform inspections of subcontractor work, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Health and Safety Oversight: Oversee workforce welfare and health and safety practices on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel. Additional Skills: Bring additional skills and knowledge in commercial building services, particularly in building fabric and general maintenance. Professionalism and Attitude: Carry out all duties efficiently and professionally, demonstrating a flexible, can-do attitude towards challenges and problem-solving.
