Position: Mobile AC Engineer Location: Hertfordshire Salary: Up to £42,000 + Van & Fuel Card Are you a Mobile AC Engineer seeking a new challenge? Would you like to work with a leading Facilities Maintenance provider? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Join an established Building Services company serving clients across Hertfordshire. We are currently recruiting Mobile AC Engineers to perform both planned and reactive maintenance for commercial contracts in the area. What Were Looking For: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Facilities Maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This role is perfect for those currently in a similar position and looking to advance their careers. Key Responsibilities: Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. Service and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including split systems, VRV's, VAV's, VRF's, AHU's, FCU's, and chillers. Possess a good understanding of electrical systems. Maintain and update log books. Utilize extensive knowledge of building services. Hours of Work & Benefits: Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 Working Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Transport & Expenses: Van & Fuel Card, Expenses Card for supplier costs & parts Travel Time: Paid after 30 minutes each way (full pay if starting before 7:30 AM or finishing after 5:30 PM) Holiday: 25 Days + Bank Holidays Call-Out Rota: 1 in 5 (will extend to 1 in 9/10 as the team grows) Standby Allowance: £125 when on call Overtime: Time and a half as standard; double time for weekends after Saturday 1 PM, and during specified hours. Requirements: Clean UK Driving License (maximum of 6 points) F-GAS Category 1 or 2079 (Essential) Level 2 in Refrigeration & AC (Desired but not Essential) 4+ years in Building Services & Commercial sites Proven track record in commercial building maintenance Strong communication skills We look forward to hearing from you soon!
