About the role:

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school community in the heart of Islington. As our KS1 Teacher, you’ll be leading a class of curious young learners, guiding them through essential foundational subjects while promoting emotional intelligence, empathy, and resilience. Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Applicants must hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification recognized in the UK. • Experience in Primary Education: Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly in Key Stage 1, is preferred to ensure familiarity with the curriculum and age group. • Enhanced DBS Check: A current and clear Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required to ensure the safety of our students. • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with students, parents, and colleagues. • Commitment to Inclusion and Diversity: A demonstrated understanding and commitment to inclusive teaching practices and a passion for creating a diverse learning environment that reflects the community we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. • Collaborate with teaching assistants to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. • Foster emotional and social development in students, aligning with our well-being focus. • Utilise outdoor learning spaces to make learning dynamic and hands-on. • Participate in professional development to grow alongside our innovative curriculum.
