Job Title: SEN Teacher - Autism
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Location: Newbury, Berkshire
Contract: Permanent; Term Time Only
Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday
Are you an SEN Teacher with a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people? Spencer Clarke Group is advertising this fantastic opportunity on behalf of our client, a growing school committed to improving the lives of pupils with Autism and SEN needs.
What We're Looking For: We're searching for SEN Teachers with a therapeutic approach to teaching and learning. If you have a background in Early Years or Primary Teaching and are open to teaching students across various age groups, this could be the perfect role for you. Experience with Autistic pupils and willingness to lead a curriculum area are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach a varied range of subjects across different age groups
Prepare, plan, and assess teaching sessions while staying informed of curriculum developments
Create individual education plans with achievable, yet challenging targets
Foster positive relationships with students to encourage engagement in education
Develop a stimulating and purposeful learning environment, including outdoor settings
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience in teaching multiple subjects and consistently delivering high-quality education
Knowledge of current educational practices, processes, and curriculum standards
