People Manager - Engineering Project Management Function 1 Year FTC - Likely extension Up to £60,000 DOE This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced People Manager who is passionate about leading and developing teams to manage the performance and growth of our Engineering Project Management Group. In this role, you will: Provide leadership and functional line management for the Engineering Project Manager team, ensuring they meet the demands of a dynamic environment delivering critical equipment. Guide and support the EPMs to successfully deliver complex engineering solutions on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Foster the development, motivation, and retention of the team to meet the business's future workload and delivery requirements. Conduct high-quality performance evaluations to maximize the potential of team members for both current and future needs. Drive EPM development initiatives and lead improvement efforts for the broader delivery team. What we are looking for Proven experience in leading teams and individuals. Demonstrated ability to define, implement, and embed strategic direction by providing clear vision and mission. Strong leadership skills in driving collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams to achieve on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery. Hands-on experience in key management tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and team development.
