Job Requirements / Description
Our client, a leader in energy reduction technology, is seeking a skilled Project Manager (PM) to oversee the client experience from post-sale through installation and handover. Based in our Manchester office, the PM will manage every aspect of client projects, ensuring seamless communication, precision in delivery, and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end project management, including the following tasks:
A. Client Management
1. Client Onboarding: Issue welcome packs and handle all post-sale interactions, including initial invoicing (50% deposit).
2. Installation Planning and Coordination:
* Schedule engineering data logging and surveys to verify unit sizing and provide the survey report to the client.
* Develop a custom installation plan, coordinating with the client to set a target power shutdown date and any required pre-installation work.
* Liaise with manufacturers to confirm product availability and delivery schedules.
* Assign an installation team or partner to each project.
* Share Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) with the client.
* Ensure technology hardware is delivered and placed on-site in advance of the installation.
* Be available on call during installation in collaboration with the Chief Engineer.
* Provide a comprehensive post-installation report, including photos, to the client.
* Transition the client to the data analysis and reporting team for ongoing performance monitoring.
* Finalize invoicing and thank the client upon project completion.
B. Pre-Sale Survey Process
1. Survey Planning and Coordination:
* Conduct initial desktop analysis and share findings with the client.
* Schedule a site survey to assess voltage levels, load profile, and installation specifications.
* Arrange the pre-survey RAMS and coordinate the engineer or surveyor's site visit.
* Review and share the survey report with the client, updating the Project Tracker with relevant site information.
* Collaborate with the sales team to issue a savings guarantee and ROI proposal to the client, post-survey.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in project management, ideally in a client-facing role within energy or technology sectors.
* Strong organizational and communication skills, ensuring a professional client journey from start to finish.
* Proficiency with spreadsheets and CRM systems, including the ability to build and improve a CRM-based project tracking process.
* Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including Business Development Managers (BDMs), suppliers, and partners.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a structured, process-driven approach to managing client projects and provide evidence of delivering similar projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
Compensation:
* Base Salary: Around £40,000
* Bonus Potential: OTE up to £60,000
