You must be a strong communicator with a great amount of patience, with a passion for working with children from similar backgrounds. The EAL Teaching Assistant Role: As an EAL Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting the EAL Teacher with delivering high quality EAL lessons to children aged 4-16 translating Turkish. There will be a wide range of ability in each class, so it is important that you can differentiate work effectively and tailor each lesson to meet the specific needs of the children you are working with. You will either be supporting the teacher in medium sized classes, doing work in small groups or with a child on a 1:1 basis.
