Your Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will: · Cost Management: Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial parameters. · Tendering: Prepare and evaluate tender documents and contracts, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. · Project Liaison: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on project scope and costs. · Site Visits: Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and address any financial issues that arise. · Financial Reporting: Provide regular reports on project financials, including forecasts and variances. · Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all estimates and contracts comply with industry standards and regulations. What You Bring: · Fully qualified Quantity Surveyor with a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. · Proven experience in quantity surveying within the M&E or construction sectors. · Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and budgeting. · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. · Strong communication and negotiation abilities. · Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying.
