Teach Now is seeking an empathetic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a warm, inclusive primary school in Barking & Dagenham. You’ll be supporting children across Reception, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD). Application Requirements: • Experience working with SEN children, particularly those with ASD and ADHD, is essential. • Relevant qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory. • A calm, caring, and patient nature. • Passion for helping students overcome challenges and reach their potential. Key Responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with ASD, ADHD, and SLD. • Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored learning plans. • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students. • Assist in delivering engaging activities that cater to individual needs. • Support students with emotional and social development, promoting independence.
