About the role: SEN Teaching Assistant: Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? Teach Now is seeking an empathetic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a warm, inclusive primary school in Barking & Dagenham. You’ll be supporting children across Reception, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD). This role is perfect for someone who is patient, calm, and committed to helping children thrive in a nurturing environment.

Application Requirements:
• Experience working with SEN children, particularly those with ASD and ADHD, is essential.
• Relevant qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
• A calm, caring, and patient nature.
• Passion for helping students overcome challenges and reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with ASD, ADHD, and SLD.
• Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored learning plans.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Assist in delivering engaging activities that cater to individual needs.
• Support students with emotional and social development, promoting independence.
