The role
As a Lead Technical Consultant at Heywood, you will lead a team of dedicated professionals to install, configure, and support our suite of proprietary applications for our customers both on their premises and within our private cloud.
With a mixture of planned project work and reactive support, the primary objective of your team is to maintain availability and operation of our services for our customers.
Key responsibilities:
Provide hands-on support for our applications, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly.
Lead and mentor team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and support our products.
Lead technical projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
Oversee the installation and configuration of our products on Windows and Linux servers and cloud platforms.
Development and enhancement of standard operating procedures and best practices for installation and support services.
Skills and experience for success:
Experience : You can demonstrate your success as a Lead Technical Consultant
Leadership : You have lead teams and managed technical projects effectively
Technical Expertise : You are comfortable working with Windows servers, Linux servers, and have exposure to cloud platforms. (e.g. AWS)
Problem-Solving : You have a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and developing innovative solutions
Customer-Centric : You understand the importance of customer satisfaction and go the extra mile to exceed expectations
Communication : You are able to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
