Art Technician Wanted Full-Time, Long-Term - Immediate Start Mainstream Secondary School - Lewisham Are you passionate about art and looking for an opportunity to support students in a creative environment? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Technician to join our vibrant art department at a mainstream secondary school in Lewisham. This is a full-time, long-term position with an immediate start. Key Responsibilities: Assisting the Art Teachers in preparing materials and equipment for lessons Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised art studio and storage area Supporting students during practical lessons, offering guidance and help with materials and equipment Assisting in the display of student artwork across the school Managing and replenishing art supplies and materials Helping with administrative tasks such as photocopying and lesson preparation Ensuring all equipment and materials are safely stored and meet health and safety standardsRequirements: Passion for art and creativity Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Previous experience in a technician or support role is preferred, but not essential A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check on the Update Service is required Flexibility and a willingness to learnPay: Competitive, dependent on experience.
