2nd Line Engineer
Location : Macclesfield (Hybrid)
Applause IT are recruiting for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join an innovative IT company in Macclesfield. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to support a wide range of clients, leveraging your technical expertise with Microsoft products , Windows and Mac operating systems , and network troubleshooting .
In this role, you will be responsible for providing 2nd line support for both hardware and software issues , administering and troubleshooting Office 365 workloads such as Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams, and configuring mobile devices. You will also manage and resolve LAN/WAN issues and work with VoIP solutions .
Key responsibilities :
Troubleshooting client hardware/software faults .
Managing Office 365 environments , including Exchange Online and SharePoint.
Troubleshooting network issues (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing).
Configuring mobile devices and VoIP systems .
Skills required :
4+ years in a technical role working with Microsoft products such as Intune.
Experience with Windows and Mac client operating systems .
Proficiency in troubleshooting LAN/WAN issues .
Experience in Microsoft Windows Server (2012 R2 onward).
Strong knowledge of VoIP solutions and Office 365 administration .
Desirable skills :
Exposure to Microsoft Azure Services .
MSP experience and knowledge of cyber security .
Experience with configuring routers, switches, and access points.
Microsoft Certifications are a plus.
