Senior Platform Engineer

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a senior developer helping to build out Senapt's infrastructure platform. You should excel in working with Kubernetes and Cloud Infrastructure. Day to day you will be building and maintaining multiple Kubernetes instances using IaaC techniques, providing support for our engineers to deploy and observe their services across our ecosystem. Your work will touch areas of Infrastructure, CD/CD and Observability. Tech Stack Java with Helidon for Microservices Docker Kubernetes Helm Terrafrom GitHub Actions for CI Flux for CD NATS for messaging Arango for Persistence Redis Responsibilities Writing clean, high-quality, and maintainable code Develop and support infrastructure including Kubernetes, Databases and Messaging systems Build automation and CD for Platform Infrastructure Evolve the Platform Architecture to provide resilience and scalability Coordinate cross-functionally to insure infrastructure meets business objectives and compliance standards Analyse and optimise cloud costs Support test and deployment of new products and features Qualifications Software Development - Have experience in software development Microservices - Have experience working with microservices and distributed systems AWS - Have AWS experience, we use EKS, S3, and EC2 as well as PrivateLink and DirectConnect Networking & Linux - Knowledge of platform and ops concepts such as networking and Linux administration CI Tools - Experience with CI tools; we use GitHub Action and FluxCD IaaC Tools - Experience with IaaC tools; we use Terraform Monitoring Tools - Experience with monitoring tools; we use OTEL, Grafana, Prometheus and CloudWatch.
