SEN TA Position: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)  Location: Sheerness, Kent  Contract Type: Full-Time, Contracted Position  Start Date: ASAP About the Role: We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a charming school in Sheerness, Kent. This is a full-time contracted position starting in as soon as possible, where you will play a crucial role in supporting SEN children and fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. Key Responsibilities: - Provide tailored support and assistance to SEN children, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. - Work closely with the class teacher to deliver differentiated learning activities and interventions. - Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and other professionals. - Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere. - Monitor and record progress, providing regular feedback to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders. - Assist with classroom management and organization to ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment. Requirements: - Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential. - A strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies for SEN students. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's educational and emotional development. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated and professional team. - Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (e.g., CACHE Level 3, SEN Diploma) are highly desirable.
