Master Production Scheduler

Master Scheduler Cheshire Up to £55,00 + 4 day week + WFH RPS are exclusively partnered with a global tier 1 aerospace manufacturer who are looking to hire an experienced Master Scheduler following a sustained period of high growth within the organisation. ROLE PURPOSE: Responsible for the management of the weekly MPS in order to balance demand and supply within available capacity and set Inventory targets. To lead the cross-functional MPS activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ·Coordinate MPS activities beyond the current week time horizon and for the whole MPS horizon. ·Create and maintain schedules to deliver in line with programmes’ requirements while maintaining Inventory targets and optimizing site capacity. ·Schedule production for products and production lines understanding all the physical and manning constraints. ·Attend daily GEMBA/Tier meetings as required. ·Ensure relevant KPI’s are monitored and PDCA approach applied with A3 in case of deviation to ensure targets are delivered in a sustainable way (Master Schedule Adherence, Customer Past Dues, Days Forward), ·Ensure that MPS: Is feasible and balanced against resource / demonstrated capacity, Includes all phase-in/out, localization and transfer plans as well as new programmes development/prototyping, Is based on agreed working calendar and includes all planned downtime (Holiday, routine maintenance, Line closures, etc.), Is in line with Supplier/Subcontractor available capacity, Production Past Dues are re-scheduled weekly PERSON SPECIFICATION: ·APICS CPIM Part1 ·Expert level for: ERP / MPS / MRP ·Practitioner level for Forecasting & Demand Planning, Daily Scheduling & Execution, Master Data Management and Inventory Management.
