The EU Amazon Customer Excellence System team (ACES) is seeking an enthusiastic, data-driven and technology-minded Process Owners to contribute to the improvement, growth and fast paced changes of the EU Operations network.
The EU ACES PSE (Process and Systems Engineering) is a team of Process Owners with the mission to support Fulfillment Center (FC) process improvement on behalf of Amazon customers. Our team owns the responsibility of orchestrating the technology project execution, communication, troubleshooting and change management between Amazon Fulfillment Technology team and Fulfillment Center Operations. We own the virtual process setup, software and equipment standardization and design & rollout of software projects. We provide an end-to-end support and definition for new FC launches and ad-hoc FC process support. Our vision together with Amazon Fulfillment Technology team is to develop FC system tools that provide quick and reliable service to our customers and support defect free FC processing to provide the best customer experience.
Successful candidate will work in partnership with existing Process owners and worldwide Subject Matter Experts (SME) network towards design, development and tactical execution of project improvement plan and new product development plans.
Key job responsibilities
Be the SME in the network evidenced as being the ‘go to’ process owner for the most complex operational problems of their processes and significantly influencing and driving the technical vision and roadmap to advance fulfillment center products and services
Key influencer in contributing to strategic goals, roadmap and plans for your process area including idea scoping, business analysis, prioritization, and robust planning. By writing compelling business proposals for a diverse audience (Technology leaders, business leaders and operational leaders).
End to end project management of multiple project simultaneously, with a time critical delivery.
Deliver savings according to the established target and create financial models together with finance partners to control and report on the deliverables.
Drive mindful discussions with numerous cross-functional business and technology teams through ideation, planning and execution including AFT (Amazon Fulfillment Technology), FC Launch, Supply Chain, and EU fulfillment center leaders.
Create standards for your process and create training material in collaboration with the Learning & Development team, to secure high level of knowledge within the FC operations.
Work closely with the extended EU ACES teams, to define the physical process, process metrics and training material to create and audit the highest process standards.
Build a network with WW teams to share knowledge and identify and implement best practice across the region/ network

As a Process Improvement Specialist, you will often deal with great deal of ambiguity related to business critical problems. Your role is to find the right path forward, identify a short term fix while working towards the long term std solution. You will also require to demonstrate certain level of flexibility, and take an extra mile to support solving critical problems at short notice. Leveraging on your subject matter knowledge, you will seek to identify revolutionary changes with your business partners in and outside of your organization.

Amazon Customer Excellence Systems (ACES) team plays a critical role in orchestrating cross functional technology and continuous improvement projects from scoping and design through to test and rollout of final solutions. Team plays a vital role in integration and communication between Amazon Technology teams and Fulfillment Centre (FC) Operations.
Our goal is to design autonomous and automated systems to remove complex decision-making with simple solutions and to facilitate operational control of end to end fulfillment execution.
• Large scale, Cross-functional project management experience.
• Thorough understanding of all aspects of Lean Six Sigma (define, measure, analyse, improve, and control (DMAIC and DMADV/ DFSS) models.
• Proficient in training & coaching Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematic, and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment.
• Experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau or Microsoft Access
• Lean six sigma Black Belt ( Master black Belt preferred) Certified.
• Demonstrable experience of hands on Continuous improvement and Lean_six_sigma coaching experience.
• Extensive experience of training and coaching teams on lean six sigma and other process excellence tools/methodologies.
• Experience driving process excellence and continuous improvement culture in a large organisation.
• Strong Process/benchmark auditing and non-compliance management experience.
• Experience with modern machine learning: deep learning, online/reinforcement learning, semi-supervised and transfer learning.
• Evidence of experience of working with technology and software teams to align requirements and drive solution development.
