CNC Miller Derby Permanent Circa £16.50-£17 per hour ​​​​​EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company located in Derby, working on a permanent basis. Due to the nature of the work & industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances, therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered. Key Benefits on offer: * Circa £16.50-£17 per hour * A variety of shift patterns are available: Days, Nights and Weekends (48 hours per week) * Shift premiums available * Overtime available at premium rates * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * PLUS MANY MORE! Your responsibilities include: * Setting, operating and editing 4 and 5 axis Milling machines using Fanuc controls * Machining small to large -sized complex parts in low batch sizes using various materials such as Aluminium, Stainless Steel, and Titanium for precision industries such as Aerospace * Machining to tight tolerances * Working from engineering drawings * Working on mulitple set ups (2-3 per day) Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate: * Must be able to set, operate and edit 4 and 5-axis CNC Milling machines * Experience working with Fanuc controls * Previous machined complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil, and gas, etc * Previously worked with Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium * Experience with machining to tight tolerances * Confident working with small to large-sized components in low batches * Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings Desirable: * Long- Bed experience would be a desirable * Previous experience using a Fanuc Automation Robot * Confident with TPMS * Previous experience working on Extrusions About us: EMBS Engineering is a dedicated talent specialist that partners with some of the UK's most prestigious, advanced, precision engineering companies within the Aerospace, Automotive / Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Green, Environmental, and FMCG industries.
