Job Opportunity: Project Engineer (M&E) - Water Sector Location: Liverpool - Manchester Area Rate: Up to £500 per day (inside IR35, umbrella) Contract: 3 months with potential for extension My client is seeking a skilled Project Engineer with experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineering for the Water sector. Join a dynamic team delivering critical waste water treatment projects across the Liverpool-Manchester region. Role Responsibilities: ·Collaborate with suppliers and site teams to manage equipment from order to on-site delivery, ensuring alignment with RAMS and QA documentation. ·Support and manage project engineering functions, including: oRAMS development oClip programme and collaborative planning oSite meetings and supervision of Tier 2 contractors as needed oCoordination with design and project management teams ·Engage in the TQ process, assisting with tracking and supply chain communications. ·Support PM with OWL and action trackers, and offer buildability insights. Key Requirements: ·Certifications: oSSSTS (minimum), SMSTS preferred oCSCS Card (Black preferred, Silver/Gold accepted) ·Education: Relevant M&E qualification (HNC or higher) ·Experience: o5+ years in Tier 1 Wastewater Treatment oTemporary works and temporary treatment knowledge oProficient in over-pumping processes (excluding dewatering) ·Technical Skills: oMicrosoft Office and Microsoft Project (MSP) oMulti-disciplinary skills (Mechanical and Electrical) oFamiliarity with ITP/ITF creation and collaboration with design and commissioning teams   Interested?
