Senior Software Engineer - Data-Driven Infrastructure Start-Up - Remote, UK - £80k Are you an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience handling data? Venchr are partnered with a leading innovator in the data infrastructure space, who design high-quality event-driven architectures that power decision making within transport infrastructure. Their mission: to create the most trusted and widely used real-time data and analytics platform in the mobility infrastructure space. We are on the lookout for a Senior Software Engineer, proficient in Python and with previous experience handling mobility and time-series, location-based data. What you’ll do: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be designing and building web applications that allow users to interact and process mobility data (e.g. predicting traffic flows so roadworks can be planned). You will also develop data pipelines/connectors to process sensor feeds and integrate real-time streaming analytics/machine learning into our data platform. What we’re looking for: We are looking for a Senior Engineer with familiarities with the frameworks/langauges in the techstack. Our ideal candidate also has experience with DevOps, cloud services and experience with time-series, location-based data and mobility data. The techstack includes: Data Pipelines : Python, Snowflake DB, DBT, Kafka and Dagster Platform : AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes Web Applications : React, TypeScript, Vert.x and Kotlin This role is remote, with monthly team co-working days in either London or Cambridge. There is flexibility with location as long as you can occasionally travel to either of these locations when the role demands so. Venchr is an equal opportunity employer.
