The vacancy
As a Wellbeing Coach, you will support the implementation of the College's Safeguarding, Prevent, and Inclusion agenda by providing a comprehensive wellbeing support service. Your role will be pivotal in promoting the success and retention of individual learners and groups through targeted interventions and support.
This is a part time role. The working days are Monday, Tuesday and Friday totalling 21.5 hours. The pro rata salary is £14,631.51 - £15,362.51

Key Responsibilities:
- Wellbeing Support: Provide wellbeing support via the designated Wellbeing Centre and CPOMS, managing initial reports of learner concerns and offering short/medium-term interventions.
- Monitoring and Interventions: Monitor at-risk learners/groups, set and review SMART targets, and create individual wellbeing action plans to support retention and progression.
- Collaboration: Work closely with curriculum colleagues, course Programme Leaders, and other internal and external support services to ensure learner success.
- Attendance Management: Use relevant data sets and reports to manage attendance and provide one-to-one and group support to ensure learners are supported, retained, and achieve.
- Qualifications: GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English. Willingness to work towards relevant qualifications in teaching, learning, Information, Advice or Guidance, and ICT.
- Experience: Experience working with learners in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or coaching roles. Understanding of Pro Monitor, EIF, and judgements regarding PDBA, Safeguarding, Prevent, and Inclusion.
- Skills: Commitment to learner success, customer-focused, collaborative, and able to manage learners individually or in groups. Proficient in ICT and able to work to deadlines.
- Personal Qualities: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, and a caring and professional manner.
