Control System Engineer - PLC Programming and Modbus experience
Rate: Up to 60 per hour, outside IR35
Location: Sheffield - 1 to 2 days per week onsite
Contract Length: 4 weeks

KO2's client requires an experienced Control System Engineer with a solid background in PLC programming and Modbus systems for a short-term project. This role requires a hands-on Control System Engineer to conduct an engineering review of Modbus code, resolving current field issues. As part of your responsibilities, you'll analyse existing PLC code to identify root causes and apply solutions.
This position is ideal for a Control System Engineer with expertise in PLC programming (preferably Schneider), familiarity with Modbus function blocks, and experience with Modbus TCP IO Scanner. Previous experience developing reliable Modbus networks in industrial settings will be advantageous.
