Job Title: Salesforce Functional Consultant – Insurance Sector Location: London ( Fully remote)
TechOhana has recently partnered with an Insurance Company who are seeking a skilled Salesforce Functional Consultant with experience in the insurance sector to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing Salesforce solutions tailored to meet the specific needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of insurance processes (policy management, claims handling, customer service) and a strong background in Salesforce configuration, integration, and customization.
Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
Collaborate with business stakeholders (underwriters, agents, claims teams) to understand and document business requirements. Translate these needs into Salesforce functionalities that streamline insurance processes.
Salesforce Configuration & Customization:
Configure and customize Salesforce, particularly Insurance Cloud or Financial Services Cloud, to enhance policy management, claims processing, lead generation, and customer service. Business Process Optimization:
Analyze current business processes and recommend Salesforce solutions to improve efficiency in policy issuance, renewals, claims management, and customer communications.
Work closely with technical teams to integrate Salesforce with legacy insurance platforms (policy administration, claims systems, billing, etc.) ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization.
Data Management & Migration:
Oversee data migration and ensure the integrity of customer and policy data from legacy systems to Salesforce. Ensure data is properly structured for reporting and compliance.
Design and implement customized Salesforce reports and dashboards for insurance KPIs, such as claims analysis, policy renewals, agent performance, and customer satisfaction.
Compliance & Security:
Ensure that Salesforce configurations align with insurance industry regulations (HIPAA, GDPR) and use tools like Salesforce Shield for data protection and compliance management.
User Training & Support:
Provide training to end-users on Salesforce features, ensuring high adoption rates across sales, claims, and customer service teams. 3+ years of experience working as a Salesforce Functional Consultant, with at least 2 years in the insurance industry.
~ In-depth knowledge of insurance business processes (policy lifecycle, claims, renewals, customer service).
~ Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Services Cloud, or Finacial Services Cloud Experience Cloud platforms.
~ Proficient in Salesforce configuration (custom objects, workflows, reports, and dashboards).
~ Familiarity with Salesforce integration tools and APIs for linking legacy systems.

~ Salesforce certifications (Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, or Financial Services Cloud certification) preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience with data migration and integration of complex systems.
