Controls & Automation Engineer / Project Engineer – Controls Location Yeadon / Otley Salary Negotiable + pension + benefits Hours Mon – Friday daytime A genuinely superb & quite unique opportunity for a controls and automation engineer to join a company during a period a growth, investment and modernisation. The Job: * Reporting into the Engineering Manager, lead and manage projects to modernise and automate the factory * Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved. * Identify opportunities for improvement and implement control strategies to enhance efficiency. * Interacts with maintenance and production employees to resolve issues and identify opportunities. * Provide technical guidance and support, training and foster professional development with production and maintenance employees. The Person: * Degree or HND in Electrical or Controls Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience in industrial controls * Proficient in programming languages and control device networks including, but not limited to Siemens, Allen Bradley, and ABB. * Experienced with HMI design, PID loops, Machine networking * Good communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills important.
