Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor in London Area. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in our projects, ensuring the successful financial management from inception to completion. You'll collaborate closely with our project teams, contractors, and clients to accurately assess costs, manage budgets, and optimize resources. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting detailed cost analysis for materials, labour, and equipment required for facades and cladding projects.
  • Preparing accurate and comprehensive tender documents and cost estimates.
  • Managing project budgets and tracking expenses to ensure adherence to financial targets.
  • Collaborating with project managers to assess and mitigate financial risks.
  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favourable terms.
  • Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and assess cost variations.
  • Providing timely reports and updates to stakeholders on project financial performance.

Requirements

  • Experience in cost control, cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with facades and cladding projects would be an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost control techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools
  • Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field.
