Full-Stack Engineer (Python/React) - Next-Generation Video Artificial Intelligence - £130k + Equity Join an innovative team dedicated to building cutting-edge AI solutions that transform industries and enhance efficiency. The Role: We are seeking an engineer to help scale our system to meet growing user demand. Our tech stack spans multiple areas (front-end, backend, and edge computing), and you’ll play a key role in both our front-end and backend development. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and implementing new backend APIs in collaboration with the edge-computing team. Building user-facing front-end interfaces in partnership with the product team. Ensuring the scalability of our system with full observability. Delivering high-quality features, thoroughly testing them, and debugging issues as they arise. This is an in-office role, requiring full-time attendance 5 days per week. Skills and Experience: 3+ years of industry experience building systems at a reasonable scale. Strong familiarity with the core backend technologies we use: FastAPI, Python3, Docker, Postgres, and Redis. Hands-on experience with front-end technologies: TypeScript, React, react-query, build tools, and React component libraries. Bonus points for experience in: Infrastructure-as-code tools (we use Pulumi on AWS). Mobile development (we use React Native). Platform engineering (C++), or video streaming expertise is a strong plus but not required. A high level of intrinsic motivation and the drive to work hard and succeed.
