Data Cabling Engineer (Sub-Contract Basis) We are seeking a dedicated pair of Data Cabling Engineers to join our team on a sub-contract basis. This role offers long-term work opportunities with competitive rates of up to £500 per day per team of two engineers. Key Responsibilities: * Install Cat6 data cabling and containment systems for both internal and external business and residential environments. * Connect WiFi access points and Switches. * Ensure high standards of workmanship and attention to detail in all projects. * Collaborate with other engineers and technical staff to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. * Adhere to safety regulations and company policies during all stages of installation and maintenance. Key Requirements: * Previous experience in both internal and external cabling is essential. * Experience in installing cable containment/trunking * Must operate as a pair of two engineers. * Own van and tools are essential for transportation and on-site work. * An iPaf or PASMA certification is desirable but not essential. * Experience as a fibre splicer is desirable but not essential. * A clean Basic DBS check is required for all applicants to ensure security and trustworthiness. * Attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to quality workmanship are essential traits. * Must be prepared to travel to various sites, although assignments will be kept within 50 miles of the home base whenever possible. * All installation materials will be provided by the company. * Own smartphone and laptop essential.
