Trade Counter Sales Person

At Driver Hire Southampton, we are excited to announce an opening for a Trade Counter/Internal Sales position on behalf of our esteemed client. We are looking for a dynamic candidate who possesses a genuine passion for sales and a demonstrated history of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets. About this position: 12-week temp to perm position Monday to Friday- no weekends 8:00am- 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients Handle client quotation and sales orders Stock management Assisting in completing deliveries to customers when required Make outgoing calls to potential new clients Apply electrical knowledge to help customers in store and over the phoneWhat we require from you: Full UK driving licence held for minimum of 1 year Fantastic customer service and communication skills Confident on the phone and computer literate Strong negotiation abilities Previous background in sales and the electrical industry is beneficial Ability to work under pressure effectively and reach sales targetsBenefit of working with our client: Salary between £27,000-£30,000 (based on experience) Opportunity of securing a permanent role after 12 weeks Training provided Working for one of the UK's leading electrical wholesalers Small, friendly team No weekends Onsite parking Opportunity for progression into managerial positions with our client 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) Annual bonus in placeDriver Hire Southampton is an agency which provides staff cover to a range of companies within the Southampton and Winchester area.
