MOBILE HGV TECHNICIAN Location of the Mobile HGV Technician / Plant Mechanic / Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Mobile Mechanic / Municipal Technician / Plant Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / HGV Mechanic / Mobile Fleet Engineer: Birmingham / Walsall- Covering everything from and in between Telford to Coalville Salary of the Mobile HGV Technician / Plant Mechanic / Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Mobile Mechanic / Municipal Technician / Plant Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / HGV Mechanic / Mobile Fleet Engineer: £48,000 - £50,500 plus Van - paid door to door plus overtime Hours of the Mobile HGV Technician / Plant Mechanic / Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Mobile Mechanic / Municipal Technician / Plant Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / HGV Mechanic / Mobile Fleet Engineer: Monday - Friday Days My client, a well established nationwide fleet service company, are looking for a skilled and experienced Mobile HGV Technician / Plant Mechanic / Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Mobile Mechanic / Municipal Technician / Plant Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / HGV Mechanic / Mobile Fleet Engineer to join their team doing mobile HGV / Mobile Fleet maintenance covering the Midlands area - ideally located between Birmingham / Walsall as areas need covering are from Telford to Coalville Responsibilities of the Mobile HGV Technician / Plant Mechanic / Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Mobile Mechanic / Municipal Technician / Plant Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / HGV Mechanic / Mobile Fleet Engineer: Ensure vehicles are maintained above the minimum standards required by the DVSA between scheduled service/inspection dates to support existing third-party servicing arrangements. Provide standby and out of hours callout cover when required Ensure vehicle chassis and associated vehicle auxiliary engine are maintained in line with the service planner and company policies Have the opportunity to work on a range of vehicles from light commercial to HGV vehicles and RCV's Ensure Health & Safety compliance at all times Required Technical skills of the Mobile HGV Technician / Plant Mechanic / Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Mobile Mechanic / Municipal Technician / Plant Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / HGV Mechanic / Mobile Fleet Engineer: Experienced mechanic (Level 2 plus qualified desirable) Be familiar with diagnostic systems Have knowledge of Hydraulics and pneumatics, Municipal vehicles, construction vehicles and HGV or similar Have knowledge of HGV chassis manufacturers and specialist equipment mounted on vehicles (desirable) Hold a Category C / Class 2 driving licence is desirable Skills required for the Mobile HGV Technician / Plant Mechanic / Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Mobile Mechanic / Municipal Technician / Plant Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / HGV Mechanic / Mobile Fleet Engineer: Ability to work unsupervised Ability to work mobile High standard of work Work well within a team as well as the ability to use own initiative Be flexible around working hours and days Complete tasks to specified timescales Be organised with day-to-day paperwork (eg job sheets and parts ordering) Hold relevant licences to drive or test vehicles and equipment Please send your CV to Danica Baker at Sprint Recruitment TPBN1_UKTJ
