Year 3 Teacher

Job title: Year 3 Teacher Reporting to: Headteacher Department: KS2 An exciting opportunity within a 1 form entry primary school in St John's Wood has arisen for an experienced year 3 Teacher. You will be part of a supportive and friendly team of educators who are focused on helping students to achieve their very best. The ideal Year 3 Teacher will be passionate, dedicated and have a strong understanding and experience with the KS2 UK curriculum. The Year 3 Teacher will be given full class responsibility, plenty of support and ample PPA time throughout the week. Responsibilities of the Year 3 Teacher: To be directly responsible for the standards the pupils achieve and to ensure that they demonstrate competence equal to their abilities across the Curriculum. Undertake further training and professional development opportunities to keep up to date with best practice, attend staff meetings and INSET days. Provide annual written reports for parents and consult with them at the termly parents/teacher meetings. Contribute to assemblies and such events, including to help organise and participate in educational visits for pupils to enrich the curriculum Carry out such additional duties as may be reasonably required by the Head of School from time to time Be responsible for safeguarding, pastoral care, discipline and guidance for the pupils.
