Position: Head of Sales
Location: Central London (Zone 1) Hybrid 3 days in the office
Package: £70,000-£80,000 + Bonus + Benefits

The Role:As the Head of Sales, you will report directly to the General Manager and play a critical role in scaling the business across national accounts, including major retailers such as Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Ocado, and Holland & Barrett. You'll take full ownership of driving sales growth, forging strategic relationships, and ensuring that the brand's mission resonates with retail partners and consumers alike. This is an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact, with the potential to lead and grow the commercial team in the future as the business continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and exceed targets across major UK retailers.
- Identify and win new business with key retail accounts.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Monitor account performance, proactively identifying growth opportunities and mitigating risks.
- Negotiate terms, promotions, and joint business plans to ensure mutual profitability.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with the brand's mission.
- Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and consumer behavior trends to inform the wider commercial strategy.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and supply chain.
- Lead by example, mentoring and developing junior members of the commercial team.
- You have a passion for food, health, and wellness.
- Proven experience in FMCG sales, with a strong background managing UK retailers.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term relationships at all levels.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on sales growth and profitability.
- Strategic thinker with experience in creating and implementing account growth plans.
- Data-driven, analytical, and comfortable making decisions based on insights.
