An exciting opportunity has arisen within the JMC Aviation, the world's leading Aviation Engineering, Training & recruitment business.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Account Manager, based in Manchester to provide support for our Contractors and Global Engineering Workers (GEWS) that are onsite at a well respected aviation business based in Manchester. In addition to this you will be the first point of contact for our client and act as a medium between them and our Recruitment teams based in Exeter.

The responsibilities of the Senior Account Manager will include:

- Conducting JMC contractor/GEW inductions

- Organising contractor security and identification passes

- Managing the attendance of all JMC contractor/ GEW personnel in conjunction with client resource co-ordinator

- Monitoring GEW Annual leave requests, sickness and unauthorised absences on Breathe HR, this will include completing return to work forms.

- Serving as the primary point of contact for all client recruitment needs, maintaining and strengthening client relationships

- Collaborating with client leadership to understand their business objectives and talent requirements

- Distributing JMC work wear and ensuring that competitor clothing is not worn

- Assisting with queries raised by Contractors & GEWs

- Ensuring company compliance is enforced in conjunction with JMC Administration Team

- Acting as the main point of contact for the client to manage any Contractor and permanent requirements

- Processing Timesheets and assisting with Missing Timesheet Report

- Keeping GEW Weekly Registers/ Staff Lists

- Carrying out monthly checks of JMC GEW Toolboxes and adding the report to ELMS software, these will need to be kept up to date at all times

- Liaising with HR, operations, and hiring managers to facilitate smooth onboarding and workforce integration

- Proactively advising on talent acquisition strategies, market trends, and hiring best practices

- Partnering with the Clients to develop short and long-term hiring plans that align with business goals

In order to be successful in this role, the Senior Account Manager will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:


- Previous experience in a similar on site coordinator or account manager role.

- Alternatively, we would strongly consider something from an aviation engineering background, looking to undertake a career change.

- Strong organisational skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Being able to work to tight deadlines

- Ability to work on own initiative and to organise and prioritise own work

- Attention to detail is essential

- Flexibility within the role

- Experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and database systems

- Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or staffing, ideally in an onsite or client-facing role

- Strong background in account management and relationship building.
