Class 1 Driver

Monday - Friday: Start times between 4.00AM & 6.00AM

Pay Rate: £16.00 PER HOUR

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not limited to:

• Need to be able to strap your load up safely to ensure the load doesn't shift in transit
• Operate and drive various class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
• Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management.

Essential Skills

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK C+E Licence (CLASS 1)
• Have an in-date UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card.
• Have a minimum of 2 years' experience driving a C+E vehicles.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes.
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English.
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required.
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial.

What training is provided?

• Training Provided on first shift
