These can be seen on our website. A new opportunity has become available in the east of London, seeking an experienced live-in "chef and front of house" partnership to share overall income. The couple will comprise an experienced chef and front of house enthusiast, who are passionate about seasonal modern British fare who can drive our food and bar sales forward. The chef role will have ample autonomy on menu design and content.This is also an opportunity for a strong sous chef together with a partner who is perhaps looking to step up into their first role as head chef. Front of house remuneration is based on a percentage of the income generated and we have examples to show you that sky is the limit. The kitchen is franchised to yourselves and the rent will be based on a reasonable percentage of the food income including contributions towards utilities, rates, waste removal and cleaning. The roles will include: day to day running of the kitchen and bar, menu design, good stock control, managing and training staff, excellent communication with front of house and kitchen, rotas, health and safety regulations. The candidates will have bags of experience in a pub environment, be imaginative and energetic promoters of events & offerings, knowledgeable on controlling food costs, be very organised, and have a strong work ethic.
