Salary: £25,523.08 plus veolia benefits Location: Hollingdean, East Sussex, BN1 7BB Hours: 40 hours per week - Tuesday to Saturday 8.30am - 5pm We are looking for an individual to join the team based at our Materials Recovery Facility, where we use advanced separation technology as well as manual separation to recover paper and card, drinks cans and steel cans, aluminium and plastic, supplying high-quality material so manufacturers can use it to make recycled products. Collect and carry out material sampling, as per CoP and client requirements, of incoming and outgoing recyclate to ensure the best quality materials are being processed Use correct containers and methods for collecting samples Sample material quality and record information accurately Report non conformances of incoming waste Report any quality issues identified to supervisor/manager Provide cover for other MRF operative roles such as Fire Watch, Line Picking,Traffic controller,etc What are we looking for?
