The role:
In this Quality Assurance role, the specialist serves as a key QA representative in project and design gateway reviews, ensuring quality perspectives are integrated throughout. Responsibilities include direct liaison with customers to address quality concerns, conduct witnessed testing, and fulfil quality requirements on-site. The role involves maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards, performing internal audits to monitor effectiveness, and implementing corrective actions for any identified non-conformances. Collaborating with the Supply Chain team, the QA specialist assesses and approves regional suppliers, facilitates the timely delivery of compliant materials, and addresses issues with non-conforming products. Additional duties include reviewing quality requirements in customer contracts, creating and maintaining project Quality Plans, analysing customer returns, and signing Certificates of Conformance (C of Cs) per company procedures.
What we want from you:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant engineering or manufacturing role,
or - An HND or higher qualification in a manufacturing or engineering discipline
For Security Clearance reasons to work this role you must have British citizenship or be a dual national with British citizenship
