Podiatry Simulation and Skills TutorThe University of Salford has an exciting new opportunity available for a Clinical Skills Tutor in Podiatry!This is a vital position in which you, as a member of our vibrant simulation and skills team, will play a key role in the creative design and delivery of podiatry skills in our state of the art teaching facilities .The ideal candidate would have a broad range of clinical experience in Podiatry, including knowledge of the latest evidence-based practises. Experience working with higher education students is desirable but not essential. If you are a natural leader who can effectively work in a team then please don’t hesitate to apply today! Key Responsibilities:Deliver a diverse range of teaching, to various group sizes in a range of settings.Contribute to the planning, design and development of course and curriculum objectives and material.Identify students who are at risk of not achieving what is expected and implement individualised action plans in collaboration with their personal tutorSupport the development of clinical competences and confidence of student podiatrists to ensure objectives are met and individual needs are supportedWork directly alongside academic staff, students and support staff to raise the standards of clinical practice in line with the Royal College guidance and other evidence-based frameworks and procedures/protocols.To supervise practice and the delivery of patient client care in accordance with the HCPC Standards of Practice and the University’s Policies and Procedures.
