Key Responsibilities: Participate in concept development and brainstorming new cake ideas. Bake cakes on a small scale, creating samples for customer approval. Develop and refine recipes during the baking process, ensuring accurate measurements of ingredients like colours and flavours. Manage stock levels, ensuring proper rotation and maintaining fresh ingredients. Ensure the kitchen is clean, hygienic, and organised, following food safety standards. Collaborate with customers to refine cake samples and finalise concepts based on feedback. Take professional photos of cake samples for presentations. Work closely with the NPD Technologist, providing support and feedback. Requirements: Passion for baking and cake decorating, with hands-on experience (home baking or small-scale projects). Creative mindset with the ability to develop new ideas for cakes. Experience in cake decoration. Strong attention to detail, particularly in recipe development and presentation. No formal qualifications required—just a love for baking and innovation!
