Head Chef Independent School Leatherhead £46000- 52500 per annum The Client Our client is a co - educational independent school in Leatherhead- catering for 11- 18 years olds. The Role Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Head Chef with the flair to produce healthy nutritional meals. This is a challenging and varied position, providing core catering for the school community as well as fine dining for internal functions and external bookings. Requirements : The successful Head Chef must be able to demonstrate high standards of food safety, allergen management and hygiene controls, with a proven track record of cost and budgetary management. The postholder will be a confident communicator, with the ability to lead and maintain a committed and engaged team of chefs and porters. The postholder must be IT literate and possess strong organisational skills. This position requires someone who is flexible and willing to work weekends and evenings where necessary. Salary/ Benefits As Head Chef: Basic salary will be £46,785 - £52,556, actual salary based on hours worked including bank holidays, weekends etc depending upon experience and qualifications. Holiday entitlement is 25 days in addition to Bank Holidays and three days at Christmas when the School is closed. Hours of work will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, 50 weeks per year.
