K.A.G. Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading player in the Manufacturing world of precision tools for Metal machining who are seeking a Field Sales Engineer to directly collaborate with their customers in developing industry-specific machining solutions.

Job Title: Field Sales Engineer
Location: Hybrid Covering East Midlands (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Sheffield)
Package: £44,000 - £48,000 (DOE) - Company Car, Private Healthcare, Life Assurance, Health Cash Plan

Role Summary:
As the Field Sales Engineer you will develop the sales and profitability within the East Midlands area demonstrating a passion for Engineering excellence and customer service to aide our client s expansion across the East Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting for new business areas
  • Sales calls
  • Product training
  • Customer support and analysis
  • Process/product recommendations

What Are We Looking For:

  • HNC/HND or similar qualification in mechanical engineering
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and application of cutting tools
  • Confident communicator with an analytical mindset
  • Ability to create and execute plans and processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills, inventiveness, creativity and good teamwork mindset
  • Full UK driving licence
