M&E Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + car allowance + company benefits
Greater Manchester based, with initial project based in Manchester City Centre

Our current project involves a prestigious mixed-use complex in the heart of Manchester City Centre.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in quantity surveying within the building services sector, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for building services projects.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to inform project viability.
Monitor and report on project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets.
Manage procurement processes and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare and maintain detailed financial reports, including cash flow forecasts.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project specifications and timelines.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues related to costs and quality.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bid submissions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar Quantity Surveyor role.
Degree in Quantity Surveying.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal frameworks.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience with mixed-use developments is preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
£55-60K dependant on experience.
