About the Role:
As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging physical education lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. You will promote the benefits of fitness, teamwork, and perseverance, while encouraging students to reach their full potential in various sports and physical activities. You will also have the opportunity to lead extracurricular activities, including school sports teams and events.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver fun, engaging, and effective PE lessons in line with the curriculum.
Foster a positive, active classroom environment that encourages participation and teamwork.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their physical and personal development.
Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities, including team practices and competitions.
Promote a healthy and active lifestyle through participation in physical activities.
Requirements:
A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related subject.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Experience teaching PE at the secondary level is highly desirable.
Strong communication and classroom management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
A passion for physical education and a commitment to student wellbeing.
