Process Engineer

JOB- Process Engineer LOCATION – Dunfermline TERM- Permanent SALARY- £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) We are looking for a Process Engineer on a permanent basis in the Dunfermline. With experience in the experience in the engineering / manufacturing industry.  As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting product development and production by providing process feasibility assessments, optimization insights, and tooling designs/estimates. You will collaborate closely with Product Design Engineers and Production teams to ensure smooth operations and effective process implementation. Key Responsibilities: Design project-specific tooling and test fixtures as needed. Prepare tooling estimates for quotations in collaboration with Product Design Engineers. Assist Product Engineers in preparing labor estimates for quotations. Assess feasibility and draft production procedures for new products. Design testing equipment tailored to project requirements. Lead process optimization efforts and contribute to product improvements.Production-Related: Oversee the design, selection, commissioning, and maintenance of tools and equipment. Provide technical support to Production Operators and Inspectors. Collaborate with external suppliers for tools and equipment. Coordinate with administrative staff for the procurement of tools and equipment. Support production transfer activities within the organization.
