Position CNC Miller Salary - £15- £18PH Location Atherstone Join our client as a highly skilled CNC Machinist! We're seeking an expert to program, set up, and operate their universal bed type milling machines equipped with Heidenhein control systems. Qualifications and Skills: Completed a time-served apprenticeship or possess significant machining experience. Proficient in reading and understanding engineering drawings, ensuring top-notch work quality. Thorough understanding of work-holding methods, tool selection, and cutting parameters. Experience with 3 & 4 axis machining and a variety of materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Mild Steel, and Cast Iron. Background in machining medium to large fabrications and castings. Safe use of overhead cranes. Capability to perform self-inspections and maintain high tolerance standards. Flexibility and reliability, with a strong team spirit. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Previous experience in precision engineering/manufacturing is essential. Expertise in working with universal milling heads. Proficient in programming on-line Heidenhein control systems.
