Sales Support Administrator - Ready to embark on a new career challenge at a specialist food and wine importer? This is a full-time, office-based position based in Bermondsey, Southwark, London as a Sales Support Administrator.

About the role:

As the Sales Support Administrator this is a crucial role in the smooth running of the business. They are looking for a superstar who can pick things up quickly, be proactive in solving issues themselves but also know when to ask for help.

You will be working closely with their Sales Leads who focus on Wholesale clients: Restaurants, Hotels, Delis and Supermarkets.

Training will be provided for any unfamiliar software and to give you a strong foundation of knowledge around Greek food and wine as well as the specific tasks for this role. This role is onsite and working from home will be by exception only.

Main duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports
  • Assist in managing customer accounts and queries
  • Process sales orders efficiently
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams
  • Maintain accurate customer databases
  • Identify sales opportunities and product availability issues
  • Support wine and food tastings and marketing initiatives
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover

About you:

  • Experience in sales support or customer service
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Dedicated to achieving successful results while meeting deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solver
  • Adaptable team player eager to learn and grow
  • Knowledge of sales principles and practices is advantageous
  • Experience in food/wine or hospitality sectors a plus
