Job Description – Cloud Azure Architect Responsibilities/Tasks: Architecting solutions using cloud native PaaS services such as Databases, Messaging, Storage, Compute, Docker, Managed Cloud Services in Azure cloud Architect Micro service/API Help architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage cloud services Collaborating with our solution partners to define and invent cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases, including modernizing monolithic and legacy software to a SaaS solution Co-developing cloud optimized software products, SaaS solutions and custom applications Working as a technical architect and lead alongside customer business, development and infrastructure teams Providing deep software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns and development Advising and implementing Cloud best practices Leveraging Agile software development methodologies Implementing DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deployment Designing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar Designing CI/CD pipeline such as GitHub CI (actions) or similar Architecting cloud networking, security such as software defined networking/firewalls, virtual networks and load balancers. Contributing to building best practices and defining reference architecture Experience/Exposure: > Over 10+ Years, in as Solution architect Experience in Power Shell Scripting, Azure Clouds services viz. VM, AKS, App service, SQL, cosmosDB, APIM,Service Bus,etc. Demonstrated experience designing, implementing & operationalizing cloud-native enterprise solutions hosted on public cloud platforms (ex: Azure). Should have designed Solution architecture on AZURE for more than one years Should have performed role as AZURE Architect and SME in multiple projects Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally. Ability to engage/influence audiences and identify expansion engagements. Experience on JAVA/.NET is must. Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally. Ability to engage/influence audiences and identify expansion engagements Azure Cloud Architect Certification is desirable Strong experience in application development and modernizing legacy monolithic applications to cloud native. Experience in a customer facing role driving discussions with business and technical personnel regarding design, development and architecting best practices Experience migrating applications to Cloud across various migration patterns Experience leveraging relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, Dynamo DB) Experience with Agile/SCRUM environment. Familiar with Agile Team management tools (JIRA, Confluence) Understand and promote Agile values: FROCC (Focus, Respect, Openness, Commitment, Courage) Good communication skills Pro-active team player Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary, self-organized teams Professional knowledge of English
