Interim Senior Finance Manager Wolverhampton £17.00 p/h Company Profile Working within the Education Sector in Wolverhampton we a re looking for an Interim Senior Finance Officer to start early November until end of January 2025 (currently) - Being dynamic, proactive and enthusiastic, you will provide accounting support to the business through building relationships and enhanced reporting to enable greater synergy between finance and non-finance teams leading to better outcomes for all supporting the Finance Manager. What’s on offer? * Interim Contract until end of January 2025 * Office Based – 37 Hours Per Week * On-site Parking * Travel across sites, own transport is essential What will you do as Senior Finance Officer? * Budget Partnering - proactively support budget holders to manage their budgets effectively * Provide effective budget housekeeping in line with Financial Regulations and timescales * Assist with timely and accurate management accounts, prepayments & cost accruals * Highlighting key issues and proposing solutions expediently to the Director of Finance. * Creation of ah-hoc reports to aid information and decision-making. * Support the creation of annual budgets and in-year forecasts What do you need as Senior Finance Officer? * AAT Level 4 or Part Qualified, ACCA, CIMA (working towards) * A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a similar position * Proven experience of using large, bespoke finance systems (Agresso, SAP, Sage) * Strong analytical skills and experience of creating financial reports. * Experience in the use of PowerBI * Holder of a DBS Enhanced Disclosure Job ID: 8672
