Then please get in touch ! Kingston Barnes are recruiting for a Sales Engineer to join our client in the surrounding area.
You will be working for a renowned manufacturer of heavy engineering products who supply to a worldwide market. This role will be managing an area in the UK and you will be carrying out a sales role approaching their key clients and developing the marketbase.
Responsibilities
- Win profitable orders for the company, with a focus on growing our market share with industrial service contractors and engineering businesses in the petrochemical/refining, nuclear, construction, civil automotive and developing energy transition market sectors.
- To manage a large existing customer base, ensuring new product offerings are shared and maintain regular customer contact to maximise potential sales opportunities.
- To carry out you own research into new customer prospects, to make contact and introduce our product range and maximise the sales potential our industrial products.
- Organise and conduct trials and demonstrations of the product range of products (full training will be provided).
- To assist our internal sales department in preparing sales quotations and equipment costings for enquiries received, when requested.
Requirements
- Previous expeirence in heavy engineering is essential
- Pumping experience or similar is essential
- Technical engineering knowledge is essential
- Must be happy travelling to customer sites across the UK
